Carlo Briones Chavez, MD

Biography

With fellowship training in hematology and oncology, Dr. Briones is an expert in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of cancers that affect the blood, bone marrow, and lymphatic system. He also specializes in benign hematology, anemias, thrombocytopenias, and other related conditions. Using state-of-the-art technology and a comprehensive team approach, he provides personalized care for each patient’s cancer journey. Dr. Briones is board certified in Internal Medicine and recently completed his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Larkin Community Hospital in Florida, with core training at Palmetto General and Hialeah Hospitals. He is a graduate of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, one of Latin America’s top medical schools. Throughout his medical journey, Dr. Briones has also led research and public health efforts across Peru and the United States.
