Edinburg, Texas: DHR Health Women's Hospital celebrated a joyful occasion with the arrival of its first baby of 2026.
Azeneth Murillo at 3:27 a.m., weighing 6 pounds and 5 ounces, measuring 19 ¼ inches. Parents, Evelyn Michelle De Leon and Noel Murillo were thrilled to welcome their baby girl into their loving arms. Proud physician was Dr. Alejandro Tey.
“We are proud to welcome the first baby of 2026,” said Annabelle Salinas, Vice President of Women’s Hospital at DHR Health. “This is such a meaningful moment for the family and a cheerful time for our hospital team members.”
As part of DHR Health’s tradition, the family received a special gift basket filled with baby essentials, celebratory items, and a gift card to mark the momentous event.
