The Women's Hospital at Renaissance

Going Home

Preparing to leave
when you're preparing to be discharged from the hospital, notify a member of your healthcare tam for specific information and discharge instructions. In addition to newborn care classes and breastfeeding assistance, printed materials are available for you to take home.

After you have been discharged by your physician you'll receive instructions concerning medications, diet restrictions and follow-up medical visits. While we’ve enjoyed caring for you at The Woemn's hospital at Renaissance, we're excited to see our healthy recovering women and babies go home.

If questions arise after discharge, contact your referring physician or another healthcare provider. For questions regarding:
  • post discharge support
Our friendly case managers are available to assist you with discharge questions, including questions about home health care and medical equipment. When you're ready to leave the hospital, a member of the post discharge support team will escort you by wheelchair to the hospital entrance.
  • medical records
Copies of your health records will be provided upon written request and for a reasonable fee.
