The Renaissance Behavioral Center is an 88-bed psychiatric facility. We have teams of caring professionals who treat children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults who need assistance with emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues. Individualized Treatments
The Renaissance Behavioral Center provides short term, solution-oriented treatment options. We provide personal, confidential and comprehensive care.
Free Clinical Assessment Services
We provide 24 hours clinical assessment services with or without appointment free of charge seven days a week.
- Confidential evaluations to identify problem areas and treatment options
- Recommendations based upon assessment findings and psychiatric consultation
- Assistance with referrals to the treatment programs and providers of the patient/ family’s choice
- Coordinated care with your family doctor if desired
Philosophy
We believe in providing care that is specific to a person’s needs and facilitates continuity of care prior to admission and after discharge.
Adult and Geriatric Programs
Our programs treat individuals over the age of 18 that are in need of short term crisis intervention and stabilization to protect the individual from self harm or harming others or those in need of stabilization of deteriorating psychosocial functioning. Common treatment issues include:
- Major Depressive Disorder
- Bipolar Disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Substance Dependence/ Abuse
- Schizoaffective Disorder
- Personality Disorders
- Anxiety Disorders
- Complicated Dementia (Aggression, Delusions, Depression)
Child & Adolescent – Psychiatric Program

Our specialized programs for early childhood and adolescents share the same core capabilities and care options as our adult programs, but are tailored to meet the needs of developing minds. We have separate programs for children ages 3 – 12 years and adolescents ages 13 – 17 years. Our programs treat children that are in need of short term crisis intervention and stabilization. Treatment includes individual, group, and family therapy. Common treatment issues include:
