We know you are looking forward to the arrival of your new baby with excitement and anticipation. Our modern state-of-the-art facility opened in October 2007. It is staffed with highly trained and experienced physicians, nurses, and staff. We are dedicated to providing you and your family with the highest standards of family focused, safe, and comfortable care.

Labor and Delivery

The Labor and Delivery unit is located on the first floor of The Women’s Hospital at Renaissance. Our unit offers a full complement of services designed to provide the highest quality of care in a comfortable state of the art facility. Our scope of care ranges from low risk deliveries to high risk perinatal care. Our highly trained staff, consisting of physicians and registered nurses, work together to assist in the birth process in our beautiful labor and delivery suites. We provide many resources and support services during the labor process ranging from the traditional to the latest technology in pain management. The birth of your baby is family focused.

Neonatal Intensive Care

The Women’s Hospital at Renaissance Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a one of a kind, level 3 NICU, providing exceptional neonatal services for babies and families. Our highly trained and qualified nursing staff is committed to providing developmentally appropriate care and family-centered care to help ensure that the little ones are given every opportunity to thrive. Our family-centered working environment includes a qualified nursing, and respiratory staff continuance in-house coverage by neonatologist.

Newborn Nursery

The Women’s Hospital at Renaissance Newborn Nursery is dedicated to providing education and support for our new families. After a brief transitional period in the nursery your baby will rejoin you in your postpartum room. The nursery is available for you and your baby if and when you need. Highly trained nursery nurses are available for you and your baby around the clock.

Postpartum

Post-partum consists of 48 beautiful private rooms located on the first floor of The Women Hospital at Renaissance. Our staff focuses on providing optimum patient care offered in a unique family centered environment. Our healthcare team provides an ambiance that offers emotional and educational support. Your husband or significant other is encouraged to be present throughout your stay. We recognize that child birth is a special event for all family members. Our highly trained staff in conjunction with our Board Certified Lactation Consultant work together as members of your personal health care team to support breastfeeding for families. Post Partum discharge classes are offered in English and Spanish.

Gynecology

Our Gynecology unit consists of 24 comfortably appointed rooms. Our staff is committed to providing excellent compassionate care to women of all ages, catering to the health care needs of women throughout their life span from adolescent, maternity and beyond.

Lactation Program

The Women’s Hospitals at Renaissances offers a lactation program led by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants. The time spent with the lactation consultants and our trained staff will help you feel more comfortable and confident with your breast feeding experience. Our lactation services are also available after discharge.

Surgical Services

Surgical Services at Women’s Hospital at Renaissance offers a full array of gynecological, surgical, and oncology services.  Our 7 surgical suites are equipped with the latest technology and our highly-trained nurses and surgical technicians are dedicated to a superior level of care for women.  Our 21 private recovery room suits assure our patients privacy and comfort after surgery.  The Women’s Hospital at Renaissance provides an environment of personal attention, compassion and respect.

Childbirth Education

Childbirth education classes are offered to all expecting mothers. Our friendly and certified birthing educators from our highly experienced labor and delivery nursing staff will cover topics such as: what to expect during labor, relaxation and breathing techniques and healthy prenatal and postpartum lifestyles. This is offered in a relaxed setting and will include a personal guided tour of our state of the art women’s facility.

Cord Blood Bank

Our hospital began collecting cord blood for public banking in June of 2008. Cord blood has been found to be a rich source of stem cells and is currently being used as an alternative to bone marrow in treating a number of life threatening diseases. Because these cells are normally discarded after birth, this is the ultimate recycling project. There is no cost to you. There is no risk to the baby or the mother. Donate and save a life.
