DOCTORS HOSPITAL AT RENAISSANCE DONATES BLANKETS TO FAMILIES IN NEED THIS WINTER
EDINBURG, TX— Doctors Hospital at Renaissance generously donated over 1,000 blankets to non-profit organizations in the Rio Grande Valley. These non-profit organizations, such as Hope Family Medical Clinic and the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, will distribute the blankets to families in need during the upcoming winter months.
On December 16, 2009 Doctors Hospital at Renaissance employees assisted Hope Family Medical Center, the Salvation Army, the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, the Association for Advancement of Mexican Americans, Mujeres Unidas, Hermes Music Foundation, Rotary Club of Hidalgo County, and Rotary Club of Rio Grande City acquire the thermal blankets.
“We are honored to be able to provide members of our community with blankets for the winter,” states Marissa Castañeda, DHR Chief Operations Officer. “We hope these blankets will provide warmth and comfort to the Rio Grande Valley.”
